Bridal Fair wedding Saturday!

As promised, I will update my blog as much as I can. It is squeezing 15 minutes of breather to my long day at work, when I feel like zzzzz. Perfect time. So, for the benefit of everyone, I am just so happy to announce that one of my college closest friends is also getting married next year! We're like super twins (aside from the fact that we're both little hahaha), we are like sisters from another mother. We often have the same nail polish, same clothes without knowing it!
Okay, so that is how we looked when all we do is to read and yes, shop at Quiapo and save more to buy e decent phone. But now it's totally different. We are saving up for our weddings! (Maybe she need not to anymore, since she's marrying someone who earns a fortune!) Still, I'm really happy for her, that finally she's getting married to her boyfriend for nine looooong years!:)

Finally we have a couple to be with during bridal fairs and all that. We inform each other and plan our weddings together. (I am a January 4 bride and she's an August 9 bride.) So last Saturday, we went to the Before I Do Bridal Fair in Megamall. And guess what, we have the same make up artist! :) I personally chose Eds Go to be my make up artist since she is a magician in all sorts! We are one of the few lucky couples who are able to get really good rates since we booked last year!
After the fair we had a dinner and some funny sharing of our wedding preps. I am so happy for you friend, that finally the big question popped out already. Now we're both getting married next year!! :) I'm sure we will have more bridal fairs to attend! :)

Wedding Gown, check!

I am a lover of fairy tales and happy endings. (that is the reason why we decided to have a fairy tale wedding) I am always fascinated with lovely gowns. I have A LOT of pegs.

So many choices, and I will only get married once, so I need to choose. Three weeks ago, we set an appointment with my wedding gown designer, and he said he will design something which fits my personality. He first asked me, "gusto mo yung kagaya nung kay Precious Lara?" So I was like... This???
Of course I do not have the looks, the legs and the guts. So I said, no, I don't. Then he designed this, and from that moment, I fell in love.

He modified the design, without the slit, without the plunging neckline. I said I want to emphasize what I have (if there's any!) and to cover up my flaws, at least for that day. Full of beads, sheer and sophisticated cloth to make me feel like a real princess on that day. Then there goes the nightmare.. It's down payment time! :P hahaha. But yes, thank God He really provides. I just cant wait for my initial fitting! Now the pressure is on to eat less and exercise more. Five months to go!! :)

Entourage check! New church venue, check!

I'm just so happy that after a roller coaster of emotions... I'm done with my entourage list!!(oa, last last week pa kaya tapos.) Pero ngayon lang ako mag bblog. I'm stressed out and one of the things that will keep me sane is saying my piece of nonsense. :p
Actually, a week after I got engaged (which was last year), naglista na ako. As in every week yata may dinadagdag ako. Unfortunately, when I transferred to another company, I lost my papers. Uh oh! But now that we already hired a wedding coordinator, I need to get serious.
My initial reaction after finishing our LOOOOONG list of closest family and friends..

Ahhhh!! So finally! It shouldn't be stressful but there are just people who will test your patience. Still! I was able to put in my list a lot of my favorite people. and, yes I made my own rules, I have two maids of honor!! And six bridesmaids! And yes, I made sure that they are all pretty!!

bawal ang wit ko bet sa entourage! haha, it's my wedding and it should be purrrfect!! So excited to see my gorgeous girls on my wedding day!
Sa ibang balitaaaa...
And another is that I am so inspired to change my wedding theme..from fairy tale to this.

Oh diba? Carl and Ellie is just sooo sweet! But I was thinking, di kaya maging children's party yun dahil puro lobo lang kami??:P so sabi ko kay John, sa prenup nalang. Stick to the original plan! (sorry,  masyado kasi akong madaming gustong gawin sa buhay eh :P)
But this one I'm so sure, change of color motif na talaga last na to! hahaha!
Loving pastel!

When I saw this I was like...

Sobra diba? haha, and what a coincidence knowing that this is also my parents' motif when they got married! Syempre gora si mudrakels, dahil bet ko ang bet din nya! Himalaaaa!!
Lastly.. change of plans again!

To get the time that we want, we decided to let go of Mt. Carmel, and push thru with Sto. Domingo church! Yes we are getting married here! Sure na as in sure na oo sure! hahaha! And of course, I'm just so happy that I'm getting married where my parents exchanged their vows! I'm still in awe every time I remember my parents' love story... So maybe, by these coincidences, we'll have the life that they had too?<3
That's all for now folks. More wedding updates soon! <3

FreE-session

Because I'm a certified lurker online, I get to know these guys who are building their porfolio and do E-sessions for free. So I immediately asked them if they do it for us and tadah! They said yes! :)
Sorry if I will put some cheesy scripted and candid photos of me and my fiance. :)

I'm back and kicking again!

Hello everyone! My apologies, for being in a hiatus for quite a long time. A lot of things are coming in and I must admit that having to maintain two blogs is just too much for me. At first I thought, I just have to let go of this, since I am maintaining a personal blog and this is just redundant to have. But then again, I met one fellow soon to be bride in the fair that we had last Saturday and her simple words stuck me. She said she had been blogging since they got engaged. I said, "buti ka pa you have time to blog all your wedding preps!" she said, "para may babalikan ka after everything." And yes. she's right. The experience of getting engaged and preparing for your wedding is something not everyone gets to experience. So why not enjoy every moment of it? I should document everything so that I have something to show our future kids! So here I am going back to posting everything again. :)

Please allow me to grab some entries from my personal blog. (Which I was able to maintain for three years now.)
