Day 27. Gentlehands Foundation Celebration. :)

This deserves a special post, just because it made my another year of existence more meaningful. Let me share some things that saddens me at times. Way back then, I was diagnosed with PCOS. (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) It might be common and familiar to some, but for me, it is something that I should pay attention to, especially now that I got married already. Most of my friends tell me, that I should have my check up as early as now, as I am pills dependent. I do not get my period when I take a break from pills, which is really alarming. I still need to take meds again to ovulate.

It makes me feel bad, that there might be (God forbid) a chance of us not having a kid of our own. John is encouraging me to take good care of myself, we both love kids so much that having a kid is something that we look forward to after getting married. Although we are giving ourselves a year to enjoy married life, I am keeping my fingers crossed that I be expecting our first child next year.

Gentlehands Foundation had been very close to my heart since I knew about them. It started as a task for me to look for an orphanage and organize a party for a friend. And then every time I get a chance, I celebrate there. And yes, it breaks my heart seeing kids abandoned by their parents, with me, praying and hoping that God will give us our own. Maybe, that is another reason why I love these kids. They give me this feeling of fulfillment.

So this year, I decided to celebrate my birthday with them (again). I personally prepared everything for them, food, prizes, loot bags and all. For me, it is time to give back, and time to give thanks for another blissful year here on earth.

so sweet of these kids to hug! May prize kasi!hahaha

Just have to post this. sorry. hahaha

Thank you Paw, for helping!:)

Priceless smiles of happy kids!
This is one of my favorite photos during that day. Brotherly love at its finest. <3

That awkward moment when they're singing happy birthday and you don't know how to react. :P

Loot bags time for the kids!

Group picture with kids! (So sad that toddlers are no longer around when we had this.)

Thanks to ates and kuyas for helping me play and party with the kids! :)

25th and 26th.

Day 25.
March 6.
In connection with the salescon that we had last week, I got the cutest freebie that I can really use!
Cheetos flash drive! I'm just so happy with this! Nuff said! hahaha!

Day 26.
March 7.

Today, I need to juggle work and preparations for my party for the orphanage tomorrow. Area, trade check, admin work plus BR on Monday are my things to do. But thanks to some friends who donated, I got the yummiest present for the kids!
I am a huge fan of Nerds! So I had a hard time packing my loot bags, but yes, I got two small boxes of nerds for myself. Sorry! Still, special thank you to my best friend Ghia, for giving these candies to the kids! You made them really really happy! :)

Day 22-23. Post birthday syndrome.

Day 22.
March 4.

As what I am always saying, I am so blessed to be in Benby. At first, I thought I missed the chance since after the initial interview, it took them a month to call! The thing is, I just got curious about the company the office is a ten-minute drive from our home. So I applied and then now I am in one of the best teams in Benby, PepsiCo!

And since it's my birthday last March 2, they surprised me with this! :) Ms. Yin and Ms. Jo (THE bosses) even sang happy birthday! I am more pressured than touched actually! jk! :) and my birthday wish? Tumarget this March! I'm pretty sure that's their wish for me too. hehe. Still, I appreciate the effort and the love from the whole team. Thank you PepsiCo ladies, I will always be here to help you when it comes to gadgets. (Basta sagot nyo BR ha?hahaha)

Day 23.
March 5.

This is one of the most random chat with my husband. Imagine the scenario that we are in one bed, using different laptops, working on our own. We're not talking, because when I work, I need space!:P And I got the sweetest and funniest message from him.

Sorry for the super sabaw conversation, kinilig lang ako ng very slight don sa lower part. Hahaha! I know I am cheesy, but please allow me to be, we're a newly wed couple and we're having the time of our life! :D

Day 16-21 of my happy journey. :)

Day 16.
February 26.

Call me "mababaw" (but I really am) but this made me happy! Photo delivery from Snapshot chuva! It was hard for me to leave for two days because I am clingy just like that!

Day 17 and 18.
February 27-28
Everyone is excited for the Benby Salescon! It is indeed my first time to attend a salescon and I am super happy that I am a part of Benby now! The workload is really stressful, you have to do everything in an instant, and most of the time, negotiation skills will be tested. Thank God for really helpful teammates! I am just blessed to be in PepsiCo team!

Happy PepsiCo girls :)

why hello there laser light!

Day 19.
March 1. (the day before my nth birthday!)
I know this photo is not taken last March 1, but today, I realized that I should spend a lot of time with my husband.

He posted this stolen photo (while I'm working) with the caption "Bring me back my wife! Overtime na sobra, pati time ko wala na.;(" And it had me big time. I am adjusting to work and I didn't realize that he needs my attention too. From now on, I will not let work interfere with my new life with him. :)

Day 20.
March 2. Note: Extra special day. my birthday! :D
Birthdays are big deal to me. As in. John knows that. And he never fails to make my birthday special.
Just a little history: Last hearts day, I was feeling bad that I told him he did not made any special note or something for me. Not even a stem of rose! (But yes, we had dinner that night, but I wanted more! *brat*) And then he said he's preparing and saving for something more important than fancy flowers.

At exactly 12mn, he gave me this small box and an envelope. And look what I got this year.
He saved for a pair of earrings for my birthday! Since I am always telling him that my ears are irritated by fancy Quiapo earrings, he saved for a real one. Now I wear this pair everyday, along with my engagement ring and wedding ring. What a reminder of my husband's love. <3

We just ate dinner together to celebrate because we're preparing for a more meaningful birthday celebration on March 8. :)

Day 21.
March 3. (my sister's birthday)
My sister had been the "monggol" in the family but God knows how much I love her. She had been shaking my head every time I feel so gaga about nonsense things. Well, she's nonsense too, haha, but she's always there for me to wake me up when I am too dramatic and all. And it's her birthday, and of course, she already asked for a gift! (di mawawala yon). But today, I want to thank her for always listening, (kahit ako lagi nanlilibre), and just for being the best psycho sister one can have. :)

Happy 14th and 15th!

Happy day #14:
February 24:
I watched our wedding video again and it reminded me how blissful I am that I am spending my life with someone who loves me the most! And to top my sweet memory? We booked our second honeymoon! I've been dying to book the flight but I still need to justify. And now that I have found the lowest airfare... We're flying on October!! :D

Happy day #15:
February 25.
Two days before our Salescon, I decided to cook for the husband. I know I've been very busy with work and all, and I need to make it up to him. We've been married for just two months and I know it is not healthy to spend my whole day working. So to make it up to him...
I cooked some baked rotini for him! I hope I made him happy today!
